Beautiful tones, really sets that dark emotional mood of a simple alley. Yet it's not the symmetrical and aligned windows that hid the simple alley look given by the tone but more likely, the lamps that hang from teh ceiling. They make the picture more complete and they're the ones that lead you to the end of the hallway, not the curving road. And the cruving road is defined by the little shadows at the end of the columns, the way they reach out to the other walls just seems to make the hallway curvier. Though this is a very simple subject and design, the little things hiddden in it can make you feel like you belong there, sitting, reading, drawing just next to those columns and hearing the soft sounds of a person walking towards you. Personally I would have appreciated seeing a bit more contrast, to higher the mood, so that the shadows will be really dark but the light parts can still shine. But this is incredibly beautiful I have to tell you.
I hit random deviation and this gorgeous photograph came up. Very well done, I love the way the shadows fall on the ceiling

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
